Life skills, such as public speaking and maintaining conversations, are an important part of daily life. In this weekly Life Skills Group, you will gain a better understanding of managing anxiety in social situations as well as learning techniques to improve communication & self-confidence. These skills will be practiced in a small and supportive group, to help build your confidence and comfort levels. You will also be taught techniques such as cognitive-behavioural and mindfulness-based principles.
These groups center on a different area each week. Sessions are suitable for adolescents and adults between 18 to 30 years of age. Commencing on 6 August, sessions will be held every Friday and Saturday from 9 - 11am.
