Caregiver Peer Support & Skills Training


The workshop will include didactic teachings, activities, sharing and practical experiential exercises! Here’s the brief programme outline:

#1 Session on Saturday, 12 September, 4pm - 6pm

“Willingness & Mindfulness to Connect with the Present”

Ψ Understand the theory behind mindfulness and apply it in everyday life
Ψ Enhance self-awareness and self-acceptance to promote wellbeing

#2 Session on Saturday, 19 September, 4pm - 6pm

“Creating Distance from Unhelpful Thoughts”

Ψ Practice perspective taking to change ones’ reaction to thoughts and feelings 
Ψ Facilitate a sense of space to experience thoughts with decreased fixation 

# 3 Session on Saturday, 26 September, 4pm - 6pm

“Reconnect with Personal Values with Committed Action”

Ψ Promote greater clarity of values and action in the service of living well
Ψ Learn to foster motivation to carry out one’s commitment
