Constructing the Roof (Teachers)

As teachers, the main objective is to help students learn and grow. However, it could be a daunting task for teachers to cultivate a conducive learning environment whilst having to handle challenging behaviours some students may display.

Annabelle Psychology offers a workshop for teachers to learn effective Behaviour Management Strategies. We will be covering two aspects of Behaviour Management which are:

Ψ Teaching Positive Behaviours

• Creating an environment where students can develop a sense of belonging

• Understanding purpose of challenging behaviours

• Identifying triggers giving rise to challenging behaviours

Ψ Positive Behaviour Management Strategies

• Implementing various antecedent-based strategies to reduce the onset challenging behaviours

• Managing students’ challenging behaviours with positive consequences and discipline

• Planning ahead for better behaviours
