The Conners Continuous Performance Test Third Edition (CPT 3) is a computer-based test that is widely used in children and adults. It assesses the participant’s response to target items versus non-target items. It requires a simple one-way response by the respondent, pressing only the spacebar on the keyboard. The results indicate performance in areas of inattentiveness, impulsivity, sustained attention, and vigilance. This is often used as an adjunct to the process of diagnosing Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), as well as other psychological and neurological conditions related to attention.

The CPT 3 is appropriate for individuals aged 8 years and above and it takes approximately 15 minutes to complete the assessment.
