Nick is a Clinical Psychologist accredited with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). He has experience working with adults, adolescents, children and infants across a range of settings, including at Royal Perth Hospital, John Hunter Hospital and the Veterans and Veterans Families Counselling Service. Nick has been an Associate Unit Coordinator at Murdoch University where he teaches psychology on a sessional basis. Aside from running a busy psychology practice from West Perth in Western Australia, Nick consults with Annabelle Psychology and provides online psychotherapy services to clients.

Nick works with clients to make constructive change, addressing core issues that contribute to distress whilst alleviating the more overt symptoms (depression, anxiety, etc.) that may have led to the desire for a therapy in the first place. Nick provides psychotherapy to individuals who experience a range of concerns including, but not limited to mood, anxietytrauma, psychosomatic, grief, loss, anger, adjustment, and relationship or familial difficulties. Psychotherapy may also be suitable for individuals experiencing vague or diffuse concerns, or who may be seeking to more broadly improve their lives.

He believes that therapy should make a lasting difference in a person's life, helping you have a greater sense of comfort in your own skin and helping you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your experience in the world.

While Nick employs a range of modalities, he works primarily from a psychodynamic orientation. Other evidence-based management modalities drawn upon include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-based Interventions, Behavioural Activation and Schema Therapy.

Dr Nick provides therapy in English.
